The Foundation for Ellis Medicine

The Foundation ensures quality healthcare in our community by raising, investing and distributing funds that support the lifesaving work performed at Ellis Medicine. Through charitable gifts, The Foundation helps advance Ellis’ mission to meet the health and wellness needs of our community with excellence.

UPCOMING EVENT

Happy Hour for Healthcare

Enjoy a fun and casual evening to support Ellis Medicine’s Patient Closet through drink sales, clothing donations, and raffles for great prizes. Stella Pasta Bar & Bistro is donating $1 for every drink sold during the event!

A sudden illness, accident or fall can have patients arriving at the hospital with only the clothes they’re wearing. The Patient Closet provides new, weather-appropriate clothing allowing patients to leave with dignity and feel cared for beyond just their medical treatment.

We are collecting new, tagged or packaged sweatpants, shirts, socks, undergarments, and coats. Your drink purchase, raffle ticket, or clothing donation helps make a real difference for patients in our community.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Cristine Cioffi, Esq.

"My vision and hope for Ellis is simply that it will always be here. I live in this community. In my own times of need, I don't want to have to go to Albany. I want to be treated here by the talented physicians, nurses, and techs who make Ellis great, and many of whom are friends. We have to make sure that Ellis is strong and that it lasts."
